Introverts wouldn’t need to be introverted that often if they didn’t have to deal with certain types of “jobs”.

From bosses demanding all of your time, to crummy coworkers, to “open office” plans, to potlucks the company doesn’t pay for, seemingly thousands of bday / holiday parties, customers, to your texts blowing up all hours of the night demanding your attention, to having to schedule all your chores, family gatherings, and friends to the weekend cause the free time you get on the weekdays are a shit show of grocery shopping, exercise, and doctors appointments. It doesn’t end. By the time I get home the last thing I want to do is go out with my partner for a date night. I can barely “recharge” the n the weekend before I have to do it all over again. And now I know why I’m always getting teased on just wanting to stay home all weekend. It’s because of work, and me needing to recharge to be my best. And…

I can barely “recharge” the n the weekend before I have to do it all over again. And now I know why I’m always getting teased on just wanting to stay home all weekend. It’s because of work, and me needing to recharge to be my best. And the only way to recharge is to get the hell away from everyone.
