A friend of mine in Florida just recently started working at an office job style company. He said he just found out that on stat holidays like Christmas, the workers are forced to use their payed time off (which they only get 2 weeks a year) because the office is closed. Not only that, my friend is a new hire so I don’t think he has any PTO. Is this even legal? If not where can he go to get it to do something about it?
