Is it appropriate to enquire if I can negotiate a higher salary when I have already told the recruiter my target salary?

An external recruiter for a company I’ve applied for reached out to me. We had a call, and I told him my expected salary is around £60,000, he sent me another role that has a starting salary of £75,000+. Since £75,000 is the “minimum” starting salary for a job that’s asking for 5 years minimum experience, and I have almost 8 in the respective field and skills, is it appropriate for me to go back to the recruiter confirming my interest whilst also informing him that I’d like to ask for more when opening negotiations. I feel like this is an obvious desire, but I’m not sure if I should explicitly mention it to the recruiter. For context, it’s an SDE role based in London where I’ll be the tech lead of all current and future projects. My experience comes from mostly a single job I’ve had at one company…

My experience comes from mostly a single job I’ve had at one company and about a year of contracting, so I don’t have too much experiencing applying for jobs despite my experience in the sector.
