is it legal for my boss to refuse me my break if i want to take it later than he said to?
hi, im 18yo F. ive been working at my first ever job since october. I work everyday. On monday and friday I work 10am till 6pm . for the rest of the week, i work 10am till 5pm
my boss said i must take my break everyday at 1pm. I would rather take my break at 2 or half 2 bcoz of my anxiety. taking my break at 2 or later lessens my anxiety / stress as the day feels like its gone much quicker. not to mention taking my break at 1pm feels way too fast into my shift.
my boss doesnt like me taking it any time after 1, and he has said if i take it after 1 again I will not be allowed a break. im just wondering is it legal for him to refuse me my break if i try to take it at 2 instead of 1 ?
