Sorry I'm new at reddit and barely know how to use this, so if this not the right channel or is not allowed, please delete.
Anyways… I'm looking for work advice, specifically in the legal realm for Europe.
Is a very “simple” issue but I think is very serious. My manager has this horrible tendency of talking about people's private life and recently has been discussing about my medical information which I think should be confidential. I reported this like 4 times now and the company is like “meh…” 🤷️ moreover, i think he was made aware of my reports and has negatively affect my career path and virtually eliminated the possibility of a promotion, at least IMO.
And no, he has not stop doing it. Just weeks ago he openly discussed about another manager's surgery.
Do I have any legal options? Friends have told me to sue but sounds like a nightmare, and it would mean me against a fortune 500 company, so not a chance.
I tried changing managers as well but no luck. I don't know how to contact the authorities or which Authorities for that matter.
