I swear that someone once told me there was a word (Possibly a German word!) for the very common situation where, around the holidays, everyone shows up to the office, but doesn't really do much actual work. Instead, you chat with co-workers, take extra breaks to eat holiday baking, go out for lunch, head out early to do shopping, etc etc.
