Ok, I believe in flat tax with no exemptions/deductions.
I don't believe in infinite profits.
I think instead of taxing the rich we should be regulating that they can only “earn” a sane ratio to their lowest paid employee, 10:1 feels high but fair, so if they want a raise, everyone has to get one. Otherwise they have to put that back into their company/product.
Minimum wage should increase with inflation. And it should be called thriving wage.
If your lowest paid worker needs welfare/foodstamps to survive, you are not paying them enough, or your business model doesn't work.
I believe in rational working conditions. E.g. 35 hours a week max, if you need ot you need to hire. If you can accomplish 35 hours of work in 15, you should be allowed to leave (paid) or be allowed to train for a higher role.
Pensions should exist again.
Healthcare, education, housing, and food are a human right, and everyone should have access to at least that.
So definitely not a capitalist lol.
Edit: Pretty much never going to happen, but if there's like some US party that remotely aligns, I'd want to help >>;
