Is this a Labor violation?

A coworker was scheduled by the managers to work for 10 DAYS through Thanksgiving (our busiest time of the year). If I recall correctly, she had said she was relieved that she would at least be getting a three day “weekend” (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) that was also scheduled by the managers. On Wednesday I noticed her name was on the scheduled board and was surprised since I thought she was off that day. Next day I saw her walking in uniform (looking dejected) to her car and expected to see her at work, but I didn’t then and still haven’t seen her yesterday or today

I’m beginning to think they changed her “3 day weekend” DURING her 3 day weekend (after working her for 10 days nonstop) without telling her and are either punishing her or may have even fired her over it

If this is the case, would this be a labor violation?
