“it affects everyone when a team member can’t come in” does it really though?

Where I work there's times where I am literally the only person at the front desk for basically my entire shift, I only get coverage from a volunteer for my lunch. I had to call in today due to my kitchen flooding. I was too busy mopping up massive puddles of water and trying to get in touch with a plumber since it was still leaking to even think about calling work, answered my bosses call and let them know the situation. She later sent me a text with the title mentioned in it. Does it really affect the “entire” team of 5 people on a quiet Saturday if there's no one on desk for all of an hour and a half?
