“It must be HRs fault!”

I work in the health care field and recently was hired in a position at a hospital that I was excited about. The job posting advertised three 12 hour day shifts at the main hospital campus. After working nights for the last year, working days is huge! I was told that the first two weeks were training and I’d work Mon—Fri 8-5. After that my schedule would change to what I was hired for. Well, I’ve completed training and I’m still scheduled Mon-Fri, 8-5. And I’m being transferred to an outpatient clinic. Supposedly I was hired for outpatient. When I spoke with my boss, they said “we don’t do 12 hour shifts here. Idk where you got that idea.” Ummm maybe the job posting, the interview process, and the multiple conversations we have had??? Even after showing my boss the job posting, what am I told? “No, no, this is wrong. It must be HRs fault. Besides, the shift times on here are only a suggestion and we can change your shift time based on our needs.”
