I know the majority of 18 year olds probably haven't moved out yet, but some still have or they need to support their family and require a living wage. I have an apartment, a car, insurance, a storage unit, a phone bill, and groceries for a household of 4. And for some reason capitalism says I don't need money because I'm a teenager. I've had to work 60 hours a week at one point to keep up (only for a bit, but it was not fun). My roommates have jobs that don't schedule them for very many hours, so sometimes they only work 12 hours a week but usually around 20-30 I think. When eggs are $20 and rent is $2,600 it's hard to get by being paid as teenagers. I just don't understand why younger people get paid less for the same jobs
