Antiwork

It’s been three months since I’ve had two days off in a row; and I can’t stop fantasizing about quitting.

I know I’m luckier than many; bc I almost always have 2 days off at some point during the week- just not in a row. It’s really messing w/ my mental health. My social life is in the gutter; and I can’t ever go camping (being w/ friends & being in nature are prob the most important things in my life). After an incredibly long, shitty winter (I live in Minnesota); it’s looking like I’ll be just as isolated and stuck indoors for the spring/ summer. I’ve tried telling them that l’m not available on weekends; I’ve tried asking them to switch my schedule around so I can have two days off in a row even if neither are on the weekend; and they’re just not hearing it. All I can think about; all day every day; is walking out & never speaking to any of these people ever again.
