Not sure if anyone remembers my post I made awhile ago. Basically my work was adding on extra tasks and I was upset because they weren't in my job description. (I really appreciated all the replies on that post), I did ended up getting a raise so that was really great but now I have come to another problem.
I have a coworker that has been sexually harassing my other female coworkers for awhile now but I didn't find out about it until recently. Some examples include leaving love notes in the girls' lockers even after telling him they were uncomfortable with it, telling one of the girls about getting “hard” while working and jerking off in the bathroom, texting the other girls outside of work hours about inappropriate things.. Also writing a sexual fan fic about Kim Possible on the work computers. Did I also mention we work around A LOT of children? From 3 months and up.
We got a few written statements, even one from me and an investigation was put on but nothing came of it. I got a letter today that basically said what he did wasn't sexual harassment. Am I wrong believing it was?
I am pretty uncomfortable around this individual now and I'm not sure what to do. Considering the circumstances, could I get unemployment from being extremely uncomfy at my job? I really don't want to do that but I'd like your opinions on this. Am I completely out of line? Once again I hope I'm not being ridiculous.
