It's gone midnight and my last day is officially in 1 week. Still have to work today so still technically have 6 days left but this time next week will be my last day.
I'm trying so hard to keep my normal dedicated (over) working attitude up because I love my colleague/friends and I know they're going through it just as hard as me and all bets are off on who will be the next to quit. Noone has another job to go in to and are worried about money, as I am, I just happen to have some savings and really like beans.
I feel absolutely terrible that I know I'm leaving which will give eveyone even more work to cover when everyone is already so overworked and in trying to get as much done as possible. But it's harder and harder to get out of bed and engage with work when all the clients do is conplain.
I have 200 emails, I can't reply to everyone in a day. Some things require more time than others, some things need to be organized today. Everyday. Your question is not time sensitive and you emailed yesterday. Please don't call me for an update.
I'm checking out and I hate it. I don't want to check out and leave my friends to scramble and pick up the pieces.
I can't wait to be done.
