I work in a small office, 3 or 4 people depending on the time of year, and a few days ago one of my coworkers quit. This is the 7th person to quit in the last 20 months. Every single one of them sited my boss as the main reason they were quitting.
My boss asked me to honestly tell him why I think so many people quit. I spent 40 minutes telling him all the reasons I could remember being told by those that quit. After all of that his conclusion is that they were all lazy. He actually said that. I think he blocked out everything I said.
