I started working at a pharmacy last May, and my one year anniversary is coming up. My manager was the one who hired me, as she pulled me from the front end of a store I work at! (Rhymes with malmart)
Right away the training was… not great, I had to speed through six months of classes without retaining everything so she could have me on the floor ASAP, I was already kind is struggling here and there because I wasn't being trained properly. And when my big pharmacy tech test came and I passed, she wasn't happy at ALL and told me to my face she was shocked I had passed and then tried to play it off as a joke.
A little before she told me this, she hired someone new, someone she'd worked with at a previous pharmacy! Which was weird, because our department was already full and we didn't need anymore people (makes me wonder if she hired him to replace me thinking I'd fail)
And now, after I've been promised full time hours (I am coded as a full-time worker) I am continuously getting 22-24 hour weeks, after I complained to her (nicely!!!) She put me for 27 hours the next week, but only has me working 3 days. (So basically 3 10 hour shifts.) He gets more hours than me for sure. She has a history of using hours to push people out of the pharmacy, as we used to have a cashier and she cut her hours until she had to change departments.
I'm just trying to state facts here, but honestly I'm at a loss. I feel like I didn't get good enough for her fast enough and now she's trying to push me out, but I wanted a second opinion. What should I do? I'm on the verge of losing my insurance at this rate and I'm scared
