Hey Guys, long time lurker here.
Just wanted to preface this by saying that by no means am I asking you to do my job for me, just wanted to gain an insight so I can create something that is actually people-focused rather than insincere.
So, I've recently been promoted to manage the onboarding flow of our company. We're disability support, hiring non-professional people as companions for those who need it most. Think disability support air-tasker.
I've been pushing for leadership to change the onboarding process, it's long and tedious (I had to run through it myself)
And they caved.
So, we currently have a quiz which leads into a profile creation which leads into an online induction where we talk about the company and go through some case studies via PowerPoint. So like I said, fairly long.
I want to scrap the quiz, email the company details and just had the online induction for screening with case studies.
So, what's your preferred interview/ induction method?
It seems that everyone hates completing quizzes before the interview or sending videos of yourselves answering questions to the employer. But would you prefer online breakout rooms, short online quizzes during the interview?
Let me know please, so my process doesn't get torn up by this forum in future. Thanks! 🙂
