Job Hunt Frustrations

I've been job hunting now for 5 months as I'm vastly underpaid in my current role. I'm degree educated, studying the equivalent of a masters and with 10 years of work experience. I've worked for the same company for 10 years, worked my way up from an apprentice to operations manager and I'm applying to jobs I know I could do like the back of my hand. Applied to 80+ jobs, I've been to 13 interviews and they always hit me in the last round with the “Somebody else has X specific experience so we've gone with them.” I get positive feedback, not one issue with me has been noted, but there's always somebody else. I'm applying to other management jobs in the correct wage bracket and it's so disheartening. In my job I wear about 5 different hats, and i'm applying to roles that are specifically geared towards one…

Applied to 80+ jobs, I've been to 13 interviews and they always hit me in the last round with the “Somebody else has X specific experience so we've gone with them.”

I get positive feedback, not one issue with me has been noted, but there's always somebody else.

I'm applying to other management jobs in the correct wage bracket and it's so disheartening.

In my job I wear about 5 different hats, and i'm applying to roles that are specifically geared towards one of the hats. Eg, Supply Chain Manager or HR Manager, because I have experience in both.

I can't get any more promotions at my current job, so I'm trying to sidestep into a role in a larger/ different company that's specific to one of the things I Do, and then build back up from there.

I got told today that because I don't have the equivalent of a Bachelors Degree in HR that I'm unsuitable for the role, despite being degree educated in different business subject and studying the equivalent to a Masters Degree in HR. The logic of recruiters scares me.

The system is geared against us.
