Job Interview Questions and Red Flags?

I have two interviews: one on Thursday and one on Next Monday. They are both remote, but both have the potential to be in office jobs so for the sake of the exercise let's pretend its an in-person job. What questions should I be asking at the end of the interview to sus out whether or not the manager/company is gonna be shitty to me? So I.E. for both

“Why should I choose to work for this company?” “What is the work-life balance?”

and for red flags

I interviewed at Harris Teeter before the Pandemic and

  1. the guy was yelling at his employees before he interviewed
  2. he laughed at me when I said 10/hr (he offered me 14/hr but still it was pretty rude)
  3. I remember walking out of the grocery store and waving goodbye to an employee after the interview ended. A couple days later, I got a phone call saying I ran out of the store before they could drug test me (again I did not run, and also there was never any mention of a drug test).

Also thanx for anyone who responds lol 🙂
