Job interview refusal

So interviews have not been going well for me. I’ve gotten a couple, but whenever they say they’ll get back to me in like a week or so, most never even just say, “no thanks” at this point. One interview I thought I did really well on, but they said they’d get back to me in a week, two weeks later I decided to send a follow up email because I was really hopeful that I’d get it. Two weeks after that they just said sorry, no thankyou. One interview on zoom, I thought was gonna be a one on one, but they had 7 other applicants there, and it was a mess. Another time, I had a zoom interview scheduled but they never showed, I sent them an email but they just didn’t respond. A week later I saw the listing for that same job again. Last time I…

Last time I got an offer for an interview was when, I was back home visiting my parents, she said the day that would work best for her happened to be the day I had to fly back, so we scheduled it for late in the day. It was one of those shitty 6 A.M. flights, I spent days preparing for the interview, studying up on the company, what my job would entail, the specifics of the software they use etc. The day before my flight, I can only get 3 hours of sleep, before my dad takes me to the airport at 4:30. I spend the whole time doing last minute prep and mentally preparing myself for the interview. When I land I turn off airplane mode off on my phone and I see on my texts her say “Sry the interview is canceled because corporate decided to can the position, wanted to let you know as to not waste your time” A little fucking late for that! this has been the situation for months, I just graduated from college with a degree in economics and a very high gpa, I’ve worked other wagie jobs in the past where my bosses all have nothing but nice things to say about me. But because I have no experience in the field no one takes a second look at me, I’m sure we’ve all heard that before. It’s gotten to the point where I’m about to say “Fuck it, I am not doing anymore interviews unless they’re just a formality” They have my resume they can contact, my employers and my school, any specific questions they have they can ask on a survey or an email. I suck at interviews I spend dozens of hours studying and mentally preparing so I don’t clam up. And all this prep and mental work has become so exhausting and it’s all for nothing. I’m not lazy, I’m willing to put in the work and be tenacious, a good employee and to learn, but I’m just about done groveling and kissing ass to these companies that don’t even value my time to actually keep in contact with me or show up for interviews they ask me to do, just so I can get an entry level job that pays $2 an hour more than my last janitorial job. My parents and my sister will keep giving me shit and never let me hear the end of t and say how disappointed they are and how pig headed and unreasonable I’m being but fuck it, IDC if I have to clean toilets for the rest of my life, I got not student debt. Is anyone else at the point I am where they’re just about ready to put a big tagline on all their application that says “I will not do interviews unless they’re just a formality, and you’ve already decided that you wanna hire me before hand.” Or something like that?
