I interviewed with a company for a position that had a temp currently in it as the position had been vacant for a few months.
After the final round of interviews I was told they decided to make the temp an offer and passed on me.
Now two days later I am told the temp rejected their offer and they want to know if I’m still interested.
I am interested. But I feel they should sweeten the deal since they made the wrong choice. The recruiter I am working through said there is absolutely no more money or perks on the table take it or leave it.
Any thoughts on what my next move should be?
