Have you been in this situation?
I want to go back to school to grow my knowledge and open up opportunities that are unobtainable without a college education. My current job offers 5k towards college with the stipulation that I stay within the company for 3 additional years. I’ve been here a year this month and until recently I really enjoyed my job and the people I work with, but that changed, now I’m not sure I could stay on with this company in a field that is unrelated to my desired field for three more years while also attending college.
I will have to continue working regardless to pay rent and my car note. I’m terrified of debt so the extra money towards tuition sounds great but I’m stuck between the decision to take it and try to make the best of this job or find a new job without the added college benefit.
