Job wants us to work 30 min past the end of our shift to make up for time lost during lunch break.

My manager recently sent out an email advising that employees must work 30 min past their shift to accommodate for 30 min lunch. Am I ridiculous for being utterly enraged? Like pay me my damn lunch.
