I'm almost a registered nurse completing an integrated masters. I was offered a job with an agency as a nursing assistant that paid £13-£19 complex behaviour and needs which is my specialism. These units have lower numbers. The agency cat fished me and are sending me to huge nursing homes with 60 beds and 4 staff on £10.42 . Many needing full hoists. They said its not a large nursing home 60 beds isn't big? The residents weigh like 200lb and im 123lb. I am not fucking my back up for min wage. I told them all generic nursing homes are the same I've worked in them before and they still keep trying to book me on those shifts. Fucking liars , luckily I'm signing for a job with the hospital.
I love caring for people but I ain't ruining my health for a company that doesn't care about me and pays minimum wage.
