Just had an encounter with the most dumbass recruiter I've ever had the misfortune to come across. Recruiter posted a job listing explicitly advertising a PR and marketing role under a regional bank. I specialise in this area so applied for the position. Got a callback where she speaks like a stoned high schooler. The first brain-dead question she asks in a rude sarcastic tone “but um what's the point for you to apply for this job position when it's in banking but you're specialising in PR”
This fucking dumbass posted a job EXPLICITLY requesting specialisation in PR and marketing, saw my resume, decided it was a fit for the position and reached out to me, then now at the start of the call she's suddenly saying I “shouldn't be applying” to this position with all the professional experience the job listing explicitly requested? Then why the fuck did this recruiter decide to call back if she thought my experience didn't fit the position or if this joke actually bothered to read through my resume once before the call? What was the fucking point of wasting time just to call back just to give a candidate the worst possible impression of their recruitment firm possible?
