So i worked for the national post for about 4 years. It was shitty work and a shitter work environment unfortunately circumstances forced me into this job even though I have a university degree ( Product Design). I thought about resigning multiple times but I guess a steady paycheck kept me there. Today I was dismissed effective immediately, basically because i don't want to be there so my performance was on the steady decline. I was trying to hide my smile when they told me and act regretful but truthfully i feel liberated. However that makes the question…now what? any advice?
I like to think I'm a fairly intelligent and capable personm i have a university degree but unfortunately never worked in my field so I'm sure what kind of work to look for now as I definitely don't want to end up in the same place. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers!!
