Just got a write up at work, was told explicitly that it’s confidential and I’m not allowed to talk about it.

Legal or no? Edit: they had me sign in and before I left a 3rd party in the room made it a point to inform me I was not allowed to discuss it because it was confidential, but could speak about it to the people who gave me the write up.
