(For context I’m from Spain so the laws are different but still it’s unbelievable) So I got really sick a couple days ago I kept on working but on Wednesday I couldn’t keep on going I was just feeling really ill with almost no sleep I had to rest . I called off work , went to get tested at the doctor , tested negative for covid but the doctor said I was having the regular flu & I should rest as much as possible and take care .
He gave me a document for my company taking 2 days off because I was ill. I immediately told them and sent the document picture and they say it’s all ok . NOW on Thursday morning I receive an email saying my contract is over and no longer exist. Wtf? I call them they tell me that they are looking for someone more senior and they don’t like that I missed 2 days of work ( because I was literally having a fever and ill) wtf ! I was going to report them but I realised that’s not illegal where I live . I’m fucking done . So angry at them .
