I've been working for this company for about 8 months and I was just told by my friend in the company that I'm going to get an email tomorrow telling me I'm let go, they have fired every good employee and has kept all the bad untrained employees. I feel absolutely crushed, a lot of people liked me and I got promoted twice as a contractor and trained people and yet I still got let go, I've been through at least 4 separate huge layoffs due to not having enough work (I work in a COVID lab)
I've been nothing but loyal and good to this company to just be treated like I'm just a number.
Apparently the people who decide who gets layoff doesn't even ask the managers or anyone who knows who's good at their job.
I'm just lost for words right now..
