Hey y’all
Recently received a little bit of a pay bump at work but within the email alerting us of the new pay, it said in all caps “DO NOT DISCUSS PAY WITH CO-WORKERS”
Just curious, is this legal? Are there any laws saying that we cannot discuss our pay with colleagues? It is not in the employee handbook we were given as I search thoroughly to see if it’s company policy.
Just would like to see y’all’s opinion on it. Sorry if this wasted your time
