I don't understand how the manager position goes to people's head so hard (in a fast food place too)! I had not eaten breakfast nor lunch and so I asked the nice chef to let me have some of toasted bread. We were not super busy and she had much time to do it, so she kindly made some for me. I started to eat about half of the toast outside sight of customers while on break and the manager comes by and tells me to throw it away! 1. We have been given free food many times before 2. Regardless of if I eat it or not he still loses like 5 cents of bread! Any person with a brain and heart would just warn me not to do it again but let me have it cause they had a loss anyways. But this man kept telling me to throw it away like I was a puppy chewing on a shoe! So I just quit then and there! I was going to quit anyways cause turns out he was messing with people's hours and wages so I thought I'd just leave now! Remember there are better opportunities out there, so don't put up with ridiculous things like that š
