I’ve just seen a post from AITA where a guy was asking if he was in the wrong for working in a park when he was working from home while hungover. All the scabs in the comments are calling him an asshole. I genuinely do not see a problem. He is working. He is literally doing the work that the company is paying him to do. What what should it matter if he does it in a space other than his home?
Some commenters on the post are saying that he shouldn’t be discussing company work in an open space, and I genuinely cannot imagine the amount of brainwashing it would take for me to come to that conclusion. He works for IT, so he has to do every single bit of work in private just in case there’s a corporate spy who might skim some of the overlords profits, which we have to protect with our lives.
He’s living his life, leave him the fuck alone. It genuinely isn’t hurting anybody who can’t stand to lose it
