Working in Japan. There is a ton of wage theft here (employees working unpaid hours.)
I submitted my one month notice. My employer returned the token of kindness by moving me to part time and taking my health insurance.
Then they told me I only had one week left of work, because now that Im part time they can fire me without notice.
So now the department of labour got me to ask them for the 23 days of labour I lost by being fired before my contract expired.
