So anyone who has seen previous posts of mine know I work at Walmart (put in my two weeks yesterday!) and how poorly it’s being run with cut hours, fewer employees and management not pulling their weight. I actually found out something interesting:
Right now Walmart self check out should have a five star rating option after you check out. After all the BS the store has been putting me through, I was being petty and giving a one star every time I bought some thing. Eventually, they actually blocked my associate card from rating. But there is some things the discount doesn’t cover so for those I buy separately and continue to give one star. I recently found out that apparently the star ratings are directly affecting the management. If the store does good the managers get bonuses. If the Store is doing poorly no extra cash in their pockets. So if you know any extremely terrible managers at specific stores, give a one star rating so they don’t get a bonus on their paychecks.
