I'm sure almost all people in this sub have encountered an abusive boss at least once in their life. I had the misfortune of being employed by one of the most unhinged 26 year olds I've had in 10 years of work. In short, I worked for small family business and the kid who was my boss (not in the family) went on this unhinged rant, screaming at me for making mistakes that he refused to help me understand. He threatened to fire me if I make one more mistake so I told him I'll save him the trouble and left. Point is, it's easy to want to engage these abusive types but the best course of action is to just let them have their temper tantrum and calmly remove yourself. the owners were nice and understanding, but the office manager has some serious anger management issues, most likely do to his inferiority complex from the capitalist machine, and I don't even blame him for wanting to fire me, but I will never stay with any employer who screams at and threatens me and none of you should either. Keep your peace and walk the fuck away.
