Laid off by job after they gave me a week off after a Tornado hit my house. FML

I really hate how I'm expected to put in a two week notice but I can get fired at the worst of times, I had my home hit by a Tornado, they tell me to take a week and that they are supporting me. After I return I'm back for two days before my position is eliminated, I wasn't alone… my boss and his boss got let go too. In the HR meeting I told them the only thing I really have to say is that being fired immediately after spending my savings to repair my home is a slap in the face. I went through an apprenticeship program that I had a small mental health crisis during because they expected me to pass two certs that normally take a year to study for in 2.5 months (Salesforce Admin and Service Cloud consultant) well I freaking made it happen, It…

But all that hard work and now I'm jobless again, I literally can not hold a job down for more than a year and a half, this is the third lay off in 4 years I have dealt with, I have tried to do introspective reflection but legitimately I have always done my job and everything they have asked of me (plus being proactive in helping others and doing more than my fair share) I just can't catch a break..
