Laid off on start date – Today was my start date and I was laid off. The company (KPC, Kizzy Parks Consulting in Melbourne, FL) said they eliminated my position. I have a signed offer letter. Is this legal? I had declined other offers, bought a computer, and left my prior employer. Unbelievable….
