As some of you may not know, Australian winters can be brutal in the East coast due to poor insulation in most houses. This isn’t the first time this landlord has posted on Instagram making himself the victim and showing off his “benevolence” (eg. I don’t mind you using the TV in the property you pay rent for 🤪).
For context, there has been a huge increase in cost of living due to high inflation rates in Australia and I have never seen so many people going homeless. There is less than 1% of rental properties that are vacant and people are struggling to pay for price increases in the most basic living costs.
People are struggling to even have a roof over their head in this country and we see landlords like this bragging over their pathetic power trip. Absolutely vile.
