I posted here before about working at an hvac company that had a couple of techs. Here is a little update. I put my notice in over a month ago, due to plans of moving out of state with my wife. Since then, all other remaining technicians have decided to leave as well so it is only me now and the company is crumbling.
The company has sent a letter out to all customers saying they are slashing all service work on equipment that isn’t oil fired. No more gas heating units or AC/heat pump work.
So I’m the only guy left now, despite being the first of all the techs to put their notice in. I am really happy for the other guys tho, they got better offers that have them closer to home where they have partners and kids.
It feels like the office is quiet quitting so it’s just a weird vibe here at the moment.
So excited to move on
