I barely make $16/hr. We were given a $.70 raise and it was praised as a huge win for the Union. Then to say “we won't pay you more, but good luck on winning that $5k!” is just utterly insulting… This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, I can't IMAGINE what they got for them
