to make a long story short i work in the floral department at Vons. i love what I do but hate who i work with. she's super unreliable when it comes to her job & constantly calls in “sick.” she'll use the sick excuse to not show up for inventory, leave during holiday seasons, & get away with ordering. she'll take multiple breaks & long bathroom breaks to get away from doing her job not to mention she's constantly on the damn phone. Its constant stress showing up wondering if she'll want to show up & work today. yes i have complained to management & no i don't know why they haven't got rid of her…probably because we're unionized. she should be fired at this point since she got in trouble for thousands of dollars always missing since she was guessing numbers for her inventory, & not actually doing her job!!! she decided to call in sick right before mothers day week while my supervisor, newly hired courtesy clerks, & i get left with all the heavy lifting & stress of the department. quitting is not an option because i love what i do & need the benefits. i have no idea how to go about this situation. i just want her out already so someone else can step up & lead the department. she's unfit to be a manager….& don't tell me to take her spot lol.
