This is a link to a us agency that deals with workers rights, Read this crap. If you want to end workplace abuse you need to provide a counter-incentive for it. If you have a crap manager they will provide all the evidence you need if you have a work crew that is diligent in reporting.

This one is for the Americans with Disabilities Act https://www.ada.gov/ this is something else that a complaint can be filed under, as always keep it above board and make sure you are a model employee. There are 2 things that matter in an investigation, the first is presentation and the second is the facts.

And last is Osha https://www.osha.gov/workers Workplace safety is a right, and make sure you are beyond reproach and model employee, keep it professional and between the three of these you would be surprised what it can do to realign the values of an employer.

I'm going to say this as someone who has been a shift lead before and that it is a fucking pain in the ass for a well intending supervisor to keep their crew legit, If you get an abusive lead on the other hand there will almost always be a laundry list of reportable incidents. And complaints are kept on record. And very often a history of complaints is going to be an indicator that there may criminal matters going on.

A good shift leader or such will let you know when there hands are tied on a matter, and will very often be instrumental in building any case you have, so don't make an enemy of them, they are very often a scapegoat waiting to happen and know it. And you would be surprised how helpful they can be, just don't overextend yourself by thinking they are your friend or that you can trust them fully.
