for context i worked in a town that’s mostly populated with poc and i’m white. i was the only person at my job who was white as well as the only male worker. the manager was very racist and sexist to me almost every day. after almost every shift i worked she would message the work group chat about a problem she fabricated to try to put down on me. i had coworkers tell lies about me saying i either did things i shouldn’t have or didn’t do things i was supposed to have done. this went on for months until one of my coworkers told the manager that i repeatedly called her a “dumb bitch” which is absolutely not true. the manager texted me and asked about it and i of course denied that it was true. she read the message, then about 20 minutes later said that i was to attend a meeting with her and the owner of the business. i was fed up and said i enjoyed working with them but i wasn’t dealing with this and that i was done. all i got was an “ok”
