In 2016 I bawled my eyes out on the floor of my penthouse on the backs of the mighty Mississippi river!
I cried because I was not ready for fcking CHANGE! BUT CHANGE WAS READY FOR ME. Deep down, I dread having to relearn everything all over again! It felt like high school all over again.
To my shock and horror, I learned we all might be suffering from the ills of the golden handcuffs. I was a glorified purchasing agent in a pulp and paper mill. I worked harder than hard! There was no stopping it! Profit > Life!
I molded my entire identity around my job. No other awareness was invested towards life! The rat race at its finest! This was not sustainable!
Life might end up exactly how you planned it, but you will find yourself unsatisfied! Just know, when you are unsatisfied, CHANGE is knocking on your door.
