I graduated in May with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and have only held one internship so far. However, I have been applying to so many listings, tailoring my resume to each specific job description not to get filtered out, and have been doing side projects and updating my portfolio to show to employers.
yet all these entries and junior-level jobs require so many languages and “3-5 years” of experience. If it is considered entry-level why do I need 3-5 years of experience???? I also hold an Airframe and Powerplant license but I enjoy working with data more. It just sucks how back in my parent's times, there were not so many hoops to jump through, yet today companies want the most experienced and qualified person while paying the least they can.
