Let this sink in.

I worked a lot of warehouse jobs and I've been cool with a lot of people on a personal level so from my own experience I gathered a lot of info on how my coworkers are paid. It is extremely common for people to work at a job for years and “earn” a 25 cents – 1 dollar annual raise only for a new guy to show up and either get paid exactly what they now make or worse, a dollar extra regardless of how important the veterans roles are. Life is different when you put yourself in someone else's boots, that's beyond soul crushing.
