Yesterday I posted a rant about my dead end job and a potential job opportunity I was waiting for. During my shift I got the call and I got officially hired!!! I'm going from $10.50/hr to $19/hr!!!
I'm so excited to finally have a chance to break free from financial struggles and bills. I happily accepted my new job and I'm starting on May 16th. Now I'm putting in my notice at my current job although I'm setting my end date for the 15th. If they don't accept that I'm leaving after that day ASAP.
I'm finishing up my semester so I can work full time this summer and can afford to pay off my tuition for the Fall. I'll finally be able to do hobbies that I've been wanted to do for a long time now and maybe even go on vacation toward the end of the summer.
I'll update this post once I've handed my notice later this morning.
