LinkedIn, etc. are awful; is it feasible to build a better (free) site?

Many Project Management positions posted on LinkedIn (and a dozen other sites) will have a tag like “entry level” and then also require 5-10 years of relevant work experience, as an example. This is not a problem limited to PM work: it seems to be a problem for many job seekers I know. These problems include: -the number of interviews are not stated -salary/hourly pay (or even pay range) is not listed -entry level positions require years of experience in the “required” portion of the listing -etc. So, as someone who hasn’t made a website since 2008, is it feasible to create a job board that is simple to use, transparent, and worker-focused? For example, job posts by employers would not be approved unless they had filled out all of the sections required of employers. If later, applicants were to report them for lies, then that company would be warned/banned/etc.…

These problems include:

-the number of interviews are not stated

-salary/hourly pay (or even pay range) is not listed

-entry level positions require years of experience in the “required” portion of the listing

-etc.

So, as someone who hasn’t made a website since 2008, is it feasible to create a job board that is simple to use, transparent, and worker-focused? For example, job posts by employers would not be approved unless they had filled out all of the sections required of employers. If later, applicants were to report them for lies, then that company would be warned/banned/etc. and/or listed as an unscrupulous organization in a database of employers. I totally get that it would be a huge lift to pay people to look at every single job posting, so maybe the way to make it free for everyone is to have job seekers or others review the potential postings? In this way, the website would be free to use and also would not have to run ads or other pay-wall gimmicks to be used. The other issue I foresee would be paying for servers/etc. but maybe it would have the ability to accept donations with a non-profit, no-employee status of some kind?

It would also be necessary to review information in the posting to make sure it matches the tags used by the employers. Perhaps a way to attract employers to the site would be to have all of the credentials of job seekers listed already, so they could cull through that list and find maybe 5-10 that are worth interviewing? The idea is to make it transparent and usable for both potential employers and potential employees. Maybe this idea is me being naive, but I think it has the potential to succeed.

TL;DR I’m not trying to line my pockets, I just think all the job posting websites are hot garbage and for my own sanity would like to try something else.
