The title says it all. Today should have been payday but again we are waiting on “funds to be released” coupled with a laundry list of issues and the fact that I've been sticking it out for 1 1/2 years for this “Mom and Pop shop” (multi-million-dollar, multi-faceted manufacturing company with centres in Canada, USA, and China) to get their shit together. I have drafted my resignation letter and intend to hit submit the moment the funds pop into my account. Giving them notice up until November 30th which should be our next pay period. Was wondering what other insight the folks of r/antiwork had for me, especially my Canadian friends (hey buddy, guy) in regards to labour laws- can they withhold pay on the last day of work? I intend to return all office equipment (I WFH) and have scoured all internal documents and nothing speaks to funds being withheld or delayed once notice is given- we don't even have an HR department or trained HR professional. Will answer questions, won't give the name of company.
