So I started this job bc it was pitched to me as a B2B, remote job. It is not. This is a call center position, in office.
My first day I voiced concerns over this being a call center position and was reprimanded that it wasn't.
It's a room full of people on headsets trying to sell sAAS to meet a call quota… it's a call center. I was told that I had low moral my first day and was sent home.
I also should add that I have had to tell senior ACs when something is out of date or missing which is not my job but everything is so unorganized. The internet and my laptop went down and I got yelled at for not calling people but I couldn't due to their pho e systems and internet.
Needless to say, I don't fit in here which is fine. I'll do my not call center job and go home. I don't need to be a friend.
I've been here about a month and I just received an email from HR saying they cannot verify my last 3 employers and if this is not resolved by this Friday I'll be suspended.
